Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dental practice for a Saturday-only position. This role is ideal for professionals looking to contribute their skills in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The CDA will support the dental team by assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dentrix software is highly valued. The position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your dental assisting expertise while working on weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorative, endodontic treatment, surgical procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, maintaining sterilization standards Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using dental software such as Dentrix Take and develop radiographs as needed Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and answering questions in a professional manner Maintain accurate medical and dental records, including medical terminology documentation

Experience

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification required Prior experience in dental assisting Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with CAD for imaging or other diagnostic tools is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team in a clinical setting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
