Position Overview



CCMS Data Base Coordinator plays a central role in delivering Elevates project completions strategy. This position integrates systems, engineering data, and processes to drive project readiness, turnover quality, and client confidence.

Functioning as an integral member of the commissioning team, the CCMS Data Base Coordinator configures the systems completion data base and becomes the interface between construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, supporting mechanical completion turnover, TCCC, pre-commissioning & commissioning, ready for operations, and handover.

Key Responsibilities



1. Digital Project Setup & Configuration



Lead configuration and administration of a CCMS for project setup and execution. Develop project databases, templates, and system structures, including: Client instance creation and database configuration. Turnover and handover package templates. Task model and activity development. Certificate, role profile, and business rule definitions. Master data imports, document associations, and relationship hierarchies. Define and implement RACI profiles, WBS alignment, and project milestones to support structured execution.

2. Systemization & Workflow Development



Establish system and subsystem hierarchies based on P&IDs, SLDs, and design documentation. Develop and administer construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning check sheets for all relevant disciplines -- automation, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical. Configure digital workflows for Requests for Information (RFIs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Management of Change (MOC) tracking. Implement document import/export standards and manage interface data from engineering, vendors, and subcontractors. Maintain integrity of completions data to ensure traceability, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

3. Field Execution & Coordination



Support construction and commissioning teams by ensuring timely availability of verified documentation and digital packages. Participate in site walk-downs, redline mark-ups, and data validation against design documents and regulatory standards. Administer tracking of punch lists, deficiency management, and system closeout through progressive turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and ready for operations Provide technical support for field personnel using mobile device/tablets and other digital tools.

4. Turnover & Handover Management



Administer CCMS progressive turnover through construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases. Administer internal and external CCMS user accounts, permissions, and roles. Develop and issue project handover documentation, including: Handover table of contents and final turnover dossiers. Redlined engineering drawings and QA/QC documentation. Assurance certificates supporting Transfer of Care, Custody, and Control (TCCC) and SIMOPS coordination. Drive project closeout through structured, traceable, and digitally validated deliverables.

5. Leadership, Mentorship & Continuous Improvement



Provide guidance and support to junior CCMS Data Base Coordinators. Collaborate with Elevate's CCX leadership team to enhance internal standards, templates, and workflows. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data structure, reporting, and project execution efficiency. Promote a culture of learning, technical excellence, and teamwork in all project activities.

Key Skills & Attributes



Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface across engineering, construction, and client teams. Advanced proficiency in CCMS (required); experience with commercially available OEM or proprietary CCMS considered an asset. Competency with Microsoft applications for data reporting and visualization considered an asset Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Capable of reading/interpreting engineering registers and documentation including P&IDs, SLDs, datasheets, construction drawings, instrument and master equipment lists. Demonstrated understanding of commissioning and turnover processes in industrial facilities. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and execute tasks under tight project timelines. Site experience within oil, gas, or industrial facilities required. Experience with OEM based CCMS software considered a strong asset.

Education & Experience Requirements



Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma, or trade certification with minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience. P.Eng or E.I.T. designation preferred, or extensive experience demonstrating equivalent technical competence. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Construction Management, QA/QC, or Commissioning & Completions. Demonstrated experience in implementing and CCMS. Demonstrated experience administering CCMS across multiple disciplines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
