About the Role:

We are currently hiring a

CCC/FAC Maintenance Labourer

to join our Water & Sewer operations team in

Edmonton, Alberta

. This role involves assisting with the maintenance, repair, and replacement of underground water distribution and wastewater collection systems, as well as general facility upkeep and labour support.

This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive position suited to individuals with experience in civil construction, municipal utilities, or infrastructure maintenance.

We work 10 hour days Monday-Friday and most Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the maintenance and repair of water and sewer mains, service lines, manholes, and valves Support excavation, backfilling, including shoring and trench safety setups. Operate and maintain small tools and equipment (e.g. pumps, compactors, power tools) Perform flushing, leak detection tasks as part of scheduled maintenance Ensure compliance with safety standards including confined space and traffic control protocols.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year experience in water/sewer, civil construction, or general maintenance labourer Valid Class 5 driver's license CSA-approved steel-toe boots required; PPE provided CSTS, WHMIS, Confined Space Entry, and First Aid certifications are strong assets Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow safety procedures at all times

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
