Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents in various settings, such as nursing homes or private residences.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. RCF1.
- Dispense & Administer medication to residents. Monitor vital signs.
- Assist with mobility & transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques for safe movement.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
- Prepare meals and assist with cutting up food if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the comfort and safety of patients.
- Document patient care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving principles and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, following instructions and protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or patient needs.

Must be able to take direction from management.
