School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for
Casual Bus Drivers
to support student transportation in the Vanderhoof area. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Operating school buses on regular and scheduled routes
Transporting students for curricular and extra-curricular trips
Conducting daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks
Maintaining positive communication with students, parents, and school staff
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
Valid
BC Class 2 Driver's License
with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record
Valid
First Aid Certificate
and CPR training
WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
Defensive driving training or equivalent experience
Minimum of 6 months of successful experience operating Class 2 or higher vehicles in all seasons
