The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of catering services, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and seamless event execution. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. The Catering Coordinator will play a crucial role in business development and account management, driving sales and fostering relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all catering events from inception to completion, including menu selection, logistics, and staffing. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions to enhance their event experience. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service and timely delivery of products. Utilize Salesforce for tracking leads, managing accounts, and analyzing sales performance. Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining profitability. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends within the catering industry. Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for prospective clients to drive sales growth. Monitor event execution on-site to ensure adherence to client specifications and company standards. Provide post-event follow-up with clients for feedback and potential future business.

Skills

Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for account management and sales tracking. Strong sales acumen with the ability to negotiate effectively and close deals. Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective marketing strategies. Experience in business development within the catering or hospitality industry is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring smooth operations during events.
