As the Catering Sales & Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for generating catering business, managing event execution, and ensuring outstanding client experiences. Your performance will be directly tied to your results: revenue generated, client satisfaction, and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and target new catering opportunities (corporate, weddings, community events, etc.)
Develop partnerships with event planners, venues, and local businesses
Respond to leads quickly and professionally
Create and present customized catering proposals
Client Management & Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact from inquiry to event completion
Work closely with clients to understand event needs and menus
Maintain consistent communication and high client satisfaction
Follow up for feedback, reviews, and referrals
Event Planning & Execution
Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for smooth execution
Ensure food quality, presentation, and service meet our brand standards
Oversee on-site logistics for large or high-profile events
Manage budgets and timelines efficiently
Tracking & Reporting
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and event calendar
Provide weekly reports on leads, bookings, and revenue
Track and analyze event performance metrics
Qualifications
Proven experience in catering sales, event management, or hospitality (2+ years preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask
Self-starter with a drive for hitting (and exceeding) sales targets
Familiarity with food service operations and event logistics
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to off-site events when needed
Compensation & Benefits
