Location:

Guelph, Ontario.

Skills Requirements:

Basic Food and Food Handling Knowledge. Follow Basic Instructions Operate Full Sized Van (Sprinter and Metris) to transport food orders to private homes and businesses in Guelph and surrounding area, adhering to delivery deadlines. Assist in the preparation of deliveries Check the contents and quantities of goods for each order Person must offer exceptional customer service

Licence requirements:

Holds a Valid Permanent Provincial Full G Class Driver's Licence Holds a safe driving record (Driver's abstract required

)

Must be 25 years of age or older.

Experience:

Experience in a delivery and/or driving role is an asset. Excellent Customer Service Skills

Languages:

Proficient in English, (Speak/Read/Write)

Work setting:

Kitchen/Warehouse

Weight Handling:

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills:

Pick up and deliver various items and products. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Maintain and organize inventory.

Own tools/equipment:

Slip Resistant Shoes

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, handling/lifting up to 50 lbs. Daily driving. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling, tight deadlines.

Other information:

Main task will be the Delivery Driver, responsible for delivering product to our customers throughout Guelph and surrounding area. When not driving, employee will be assisting in warehouse as required.
