Blissful Bites is a catering company specializing in live catering services throughout the GTA and beyond. We offer a wide variety of food and dessert stations for an amazing experience.

Summary

As a Catering Cook, you will be essential in preparing and serving high-quality meals for various events, ensuring that every dish meets our food safety and presentation standards. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and food service to create memorable dining experiences. Your restaurant and kitchen experience will be invaluable as you collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Strong communication skills will enhance your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our catering operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and dietary requirements. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in all food handling and preparation processes. Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and taste meet restaurant standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and maintain efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas. Serve meals to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food service standards Excellent teamwork and communication skills Certification in food safety or culinary arts is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
