Brandt is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a Category Manager / Parts Marketing Manager specializing in Material Handling. This role is dedicated to supporting our Material Handling division--(forklifts, pallet jacks) and all associated parts, supplies, and accessories. This job opportunity is onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.
You will be the strategic driver behind our Material Handling parts portfolio, ensuring we have the right parts, in the right place, at the right time. With industry knowledge as a strong asset, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders to build, optimize, and market a growing parts assortment that meets the needs of both our customers and our branches.
This position requires a blend of strategic planning, competitor intelligence, parts lifecycle understanding, stakeholder engagement, and disciplined execution. You will champion the division's growth through exceptional portfolio management, vendor strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a Material Handling Parts Strategy that supports sales and margin growth.
  • Build and maintain the Annual Business Plan for parts and merchandise related product categories.
  • Understand the existing portfolio and create a roadmap for future growth--including coverage analysis, gap identification, and SKU optimization.
Category & Portfolio Management
  • Conduct competitor audits and market intelligence reviews on pricing, product range, and segment trends.
  • Identify gaps in the Material Handling parts lineup and lead initiatives to source, stock, and launch new products.
  • Ensure accurate, organized, and effective product data within the parts database.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work extensively with CSA's, Parts Managers, and Service leadership to ensure alignment and execution of category initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training sessions for CSAs, Parts Managers, and Service teams to increase product knowledge and confidence.
  • Support branches by analyzing sales and margin data to identify opportunities for improved performance.
Vendor Management
  • Maintain and expand vendor relationships relevant to Material Handling parts.
  • Lead vendor onboarding, product evaluation, cost negotiation, and strategic sourcing activities.
Execution & Performance
  • Drive measurable improvements in sales, margin, and product penetration.
  • Promote new parts programs, campaigns, and product launches.
  • Support marketing initiatives, presentations, and communication plans for the Material Handling division.
Key Objectives & Measures
  • Successful execution of the Material Handling Annual Business Plan
  • Category revenue and margin growth
  • Improved coverage and competitiveness of the Material Handling portfolio
  • Consistent delivery of training and support for field teams
  • Vendor expansion and strengthened supplier partnerships

  • Industry experience in Material Handling, Parts, Industrial Equipment, or Machinery is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset.
