About the role
Do you have experience in supply management in category purchasing? We are looking for a Category Management Specialist for our growing team!

As a Category Management Specialist, your work will have a big impact on our current operations. People will count on you to participate in strategic discussions and healthy debates with various levels of cross-functional experts with the aim of identifying and creating innovative solutions in partnership with third party suppliers, and to move quickly with the changing environment and be up to date with the latest products and services and market trends.

You'll also handle many key responsibilities:
Develop sourcing strategies for Indirect/Claims related initiatives and commodities that support Intact' s overall business strategies.
Leverage on effective market intelligence and cost modelling to develop and support negotiation strategies.
Lead proposal (RFX) process for high complexity and high-risk transactions/agreements.
Develop and maintain partnership approach with suppliers focusing on TCO and ROI
Develop supplier key performance indicators and service level agreements that drive value and optimization.
Support the implementation of procurement continuous improvement projects.

Your Skills:
5 + years of related experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
Bachelor's degree
Deep understanding of strategic sourcing along with the ability to apply this knowledge to execute projects and optimize strategies.
Strong project management and communication skills
Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to details.
Bilingual, French & English, spoken and written is a strong asset
The level of the position will depend on the profile, experience, skills and expertise of the successful candidate.
