Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for Catastrophe Adjusters to join our WorkForce Advantage team in Ontario.

The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle CAT claims by telephone and/or on the field. The candidate has the ability to work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients and more. The candidate will provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.

As part of the Workforce Advantage team, you would be on our roster to be contacted and placed on a contract with our clients based on availability and fit.

You would be an employee of Crawford & Co. but would be working at other insurance company offices/sites (remotely).

The role would be a contract position typically 3-12 months in length with the possibility of the contract being extended or being offered a permanent position with the client in the end.

Requirements

• Valid adjuster\'s license in province of residence (where required by law).
• Must be able to travel on short notice and remain on location for indefinite periods.
• In most cases, Catastrophe Adjusters are responsible for their own travel and living expenses while on assignment.
• Ability to climb and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Licenses & Certifications recommended.
• Knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware preferred.
• Knowledge of Mitchell preferred for auto adjusters.
• High school diploma
• Minimum 3 years experience.
• Good communication skills, organizational ability, technical knowledge, and computer skills.

Le candidat retenu enqu\xc3\xaatera, \xc3\xa9valuera, n\xc3\xa9gociera et r\xc3\xa9glera les r\xc3\xa9clamations de lignes commerciales par t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9phone et par correspondance. Le candidat dirigera les experts en sinistres sur le terrain sur la base d\xe2\x80\x99une t\xc3\xa2che. Le candidat participera \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99exactitude de l\xe2\x80\x99enregistrement, de la production de rapports et de la pr\xc3\xa9sentation des dossiers.

Qualifications

• 2 ans d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience technique dans un environnement de sinistres d\xe2\x80\x99assurance, la connaissance des lignes commerciales sera consid\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9e comme un atout
• \xc3\x89tudes postsecondaires dans un domaine li\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99assurance en vue d\xe2\x80\x99obtenir une licence compl\xc3\xa8te et une d\xc3\xa9signation de PAA
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 de mener des enqu\xc3\xaates t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9phoniques, d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9valuer, de n\xc3\xa9gocier et de r\xc3\xa9gler les r\xc3\xa9clamations relatives aux lignes commerciales de premi\xc3\xa8re et de tierce partie
• Comp\xc3\xa9tences informatiques avanc\xc3\xa9es, y compris Office 365

• Excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication
• Doit \xc3\xaatre un joueur d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe avec un engagement fort envers la qualit\xc3\xa9 et le service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le
