Job Description

We're looking for a cat-savvy, detail-obsessed, Kitty Care Coordinator to join our team!

This leadership role is ideal for someone who loves and deeply understands cats (their quirks, needs and behaviors). In addition to basic care, we also provide enrichment activities and assist with medical needs.

Administering medications, including insulin injections, will be a regular part of the job. Experience is ideal but training will be provided.

The bulk of cat visits take place between 7am-10am and 4pm-9pm. The ideal candidate would be available and interested in working split shifts as needed.

Some of our busiest times for cat care are when many people are on vacation, so this role may not be ideal for someone who is often away for long weekends, March break, and the December holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

-Providing cat care to clients throughout HRM.

-Meeting with new clients to introduce our team and ensure we have everything in place to provide exceptional care.

-Reviewing and confirming care instructions for accuracy and clarity.

-Assigning team members to scheduled cat visits based on availability, location and client needs.

-Coordinating efficient key handoffs between team members.

For the right candidate, this role could lead to managerial responsibilities, which could include: training new team members, assisting team members to advance their knowledge and skills, and working to improve overall customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
