Casual/Flex Workers - Snow & Landscape Labourers
Important: This ad is for a Casual/Flex position, but we’re always looking for great landscape/snow staff at all levels - we have lawn, garden, light construction, and snow crews. Flexible/Casual Snow Removal - work only when you’re available!

• Flexible schedule - No obligation, you only work when you are available.

• Pay - quick pay via e-transfer. $160-240 per day typically ($20+/hr)

• Well established company, with over 35 full time staff.

• Three starting locations in the city: SE (Foothills Industrial), NE (Coventry Hills Blvd), SW (Coach Hill).

Overview
We are looking for workers that can come in to supplement our regular staff when we need extra help, typically on bigger snow days. This is a great way to make extra money while working around another job you might already have. This is daytime only work, as our company specializes in snow removal at condo/apartment/townhome complexes. There is potential for full time, and year round employment for the best applicants.

• Hours are approximately from 6:30 am – 5 pm (sometimes later)
• You will be joining one of our dedicated crews, in one of our company trucks
• There will be no set or guaranteed hours for this position

Once approved to be on our list, here’s how it works:

• A supervisor will contact you for availability for an upcoming snow event, you will let them know if you can come in or not.

• If available, you will meet at one of our shops in the city, and join a crew for the day.

• You will track your own hours, and submit your total to our office for payment.

• Your invoice will be processed and payment sent soon after.

Applicants must have:

• A good attitude, able to work through tough winter days and get along well with a high performing team
• Warm winter workwear
• Prepared to work in demanding conditions; eg. long hours, heavy lifting
• Steel toed boots
