Monarch Manor

is located in Midtown Toronto, serving children from 9 months - 4 years.

We are currently looking for a mature, compassionate, nurturing, creative

supply staff

to join our team!

Please note -- this is a casual position, with no guarantee of set hours. A supply position is for coverage for the day, whether for a planned absence (ie: vacation) or not anticipated (ie: sick).

To be successful in this position, the successful candidate would need:

- The ability to supervise children and help promote their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
- Effective communication skills that promote professional, positive relationships with both parents and team teachers.
- Effective behaviour management skills.

Qualifications:

-Registered Early Childhood Educator OR 1 year experience in a childcare setting and a degree/diploma in a related field.
-Valid Standard First Aid & Infant /Child CPR certification.
-Current Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check
-Up to date Immunization and Health Assessment.

Monarch Manor

is a licensed childcare centre in midtown Toronto, providing quality childcare for infants, toddlers and preschool children. By creating an enriching environment through informed choices and thoughtful design, we pride ourselves in a dynamic team of teachers who deliver top-notch care. As a casual supply teacher, your day to day responsibilities are dependent on the room you are placed in for the day. We have one infant room (9mos - 18mos), one toddler room (18mos - 2.5yrs) and two preschool rooms (2.5yrs - 4yrs).

Some of the responsibilities during the day can be (but are not limited to):
- diaper changes
- participating in extracurricular activities (French, music and movement) as well as planned activities (arts and crafts, sensory, etc)
- covering a teacher for programming time

Shifts may vary between the hours of 8AM - 5:30PM, depending on the needs of the Centre and the shift that needs coverage.
