Position: Casual Sterile Distribution Aide Locations: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown Salary: $24.81 per hour (Casual Rate of Pay) Responsabilities & Duties: The successful applicant will be required to perform duties related to the distribution of supplies, sterile supplies and equipment. Duties will include:
- Prioritizing incoming calls;
- Coordinating activities by effectively and appropriately delegating and directing staff and assigning calls;
- Maintaining accurate Dispatch logs;
- Coordinating daily requests of Home Program clients and outside agencies;
- Checking and stocking all nursing areas and other departments such as Diagnostic Imaging;
- Documenting inventory transactions accurately;
- Rotating, stocking and issuing sterile items to user departments and facilities;
- Other related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: - The successful applicant must have completed Grade 12;
- Must be capable of sustained physical activity;
- Must have a good previous work and attendance record; Job Type: Casual Salary: $24.81 per hour Benefits:
