$15.50-$18.57/hour

Working as a Security Guard in a Healthcare environment, you will be responsible for completing investigations, and incident reports. You will be expected to perform consistent patrols and interact with the public to provide good customer service and keep the clients and visitors safe.

Casual guards for QHC work across their 4 healthcare sites in Belleville, Trenton, Picton, and Bancroft.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with maintaining the utmost professionalism
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, and customer service orientation
• Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
• Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
• Report writing/note taking

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
• A copy of your immunization records (TB, Rubella, Meales, Mumps, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Must have a vehicle in good repair and a valid G or G2 level driver\'s license
• Must be able to be clean shaven to pass N95 Mask Fit Test
• Previous security experience is strongly preferred
• Previous healthcare/healthcare security experience is considered an asset
• Compassion, empathy, and a desire to work in a healthcare environment
• Able to attend in-class training at our Kingston branch office
