Paladin Security is Hiring a Casual Security Guard!:

Type:

Casual | Pay: $21.42/hour

Are you passionate about public safety and delivering exceptional service? Paladin Security is seeking professional, dependable, and proactive Casual Security Guards to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB. You'll help protect healthcare environments, ensuring they remain safe, secure, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do:

Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and visitors. Conduct proactive patrols to identify safety issues and enforce policies. Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. De-escalate conflicts and coordinate with emergency responders (police, fire, paramedics). Support with crowd control and remove trespassers when necessary. Write clear and accurate incident, emergency, and daily activity reports. Deliver first aid and medical response as required. Communicate site activities using radios and computer applications. Manage Lost & Found items and inquiries.

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Alberta Security License. Physically fit -- able to walk long distances and climb stairs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations. High School Diploma or GED. Resident of the Medicine Hat area. Not planning to return to school in the next 6 months.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Unrestricted).
