In close consultation and coordination with the Recreation Team and other staff, and following established rules, schedules, policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for supervising and promoting recreational programs throughout the centre while maintaining recreational equipment/facilities and cleanliness of the facility.
Specific Duties
Supervising intramural and recreational games and areas such as gym area, squash court, weight room and bouldering wall as requested/scheduled Promoting athletic and recreation events and programs Clean and maintain recreation facilities and equipment. Maintain inventory of recreation equipment and other items that may be required You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities. You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicating in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues. Other related duties as assigned by Manager or designate.

Skills & Qualifications
High School completion or equivalent


First Aid CPR + AED (acquired within 3 weeks of hiring) Knowledge of a variety of sports and their rules Ability to work independently Understanding of and ability to maintain a safe work and user environment Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills Interest in pursuing a career in the recreation field preferred
