-0Position: Casual Porter Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown Salary: $23.21 per hour (Casual Rate of Pay) Responsabilities $ Duties: The SPD Porter will be required to convey patients, supplies, equipment, furniture, soiled items and other materials throughout the hospital. Duties will include: - Collecting soiled linen and utensils;
- Exchanging linen and Med Surgery carts;
- Transporting laboratory specimens;
- Patient porting;
- Delivering supplies for SPD;
- Moving equipment for various units as required;
- Other related duties. Minimum Requirements: - Successful completion of Grade 12;
- Capable of sustained physical activity;
- Must be able to follow procedures and work without direct supervision;
- Good previous work and attendance record. Job Type: Casual Salary: $23.21 per hour Benefits:
