CASUAL / PART-TIME BINDERY OPERATOR / SHIPPER RECEIVER

We are looking for a

flexible, dependable, on-call team member

to help out when our production volumes spike beyond our in-house team's capacity. This is a

casual, part-time, as-needed

role--ideal for someone with open weekday availability who can come in on short notice.

For the right person, this position may grow into a

permanent full-time role

.

Position Details:

Type:

Casual / Part-Time (on-call, flexible schedule)

Availability Needed:

Monday-Friday, between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Must be available to come in on short notice during these times

Wage:

$15.00-$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

Location:

SE Calgary (Peigan Trail & 100th Street SE)
Must have reliable transportation -- not transit-accessible

Criminal Record Check Required

What You'll Do:

Operate finishing equipment: foiling, trimming, folding, stitching, drilling, laminating Manual bindery and packaging: padding, gluing, boxing, labeling Trim and finish printed jobs from our digital and offset departments Maintain tools and equipment such as knives, cutters, and foilers Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality Move materials between departments using carts or by hand Help out wherever needed within the department during busy times

What We're Looking For:

No experience required

- we will train the right person

Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly

throughout the day

Flexible weekday availability

and willingness to come in on short notice Fast, accurate, and able to work under pressure Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills Prior print shop experience is a plus, but not required Ability to multitask and switch between responsibilities quickly
