part-time custom window coverings installer
. We cover a geographical area that includes: Airdrie, Chestermere, Olds, Sundre, Three Hills and the surrounding rural areas.
An Exceptional Role:

Our installation team is well trained and is supported by our excellent sales and administrative teams. As an Installer with our team we will require a high level of commitment, dependability, and patience. You will also be required to work closely with the administrative and sales teams and assist with problem solving. Evening and weekend work will be required with this position. There is no guarantee on how many hours of work will be required as we are a leads-based business.

Primary Responsibilities
:
Installation of custom window coverings, including hard window coverings such as wood/faux blinds, shutters, verticals, aluminum/vinyl blinds, and including soft treatments such as roller shades, cellular blinds, panel tracks, roman shades, draperies, and valances
Unpackaging blinds, sorting them out, and placing them in the location to be installed
Organizing the installation supplies such as screws, mounting brackets, valances, and installation rails and placing them in the location to be installed.
Cleaning up after the installation has been completed including packing up all garbage and installation materials, as well as dusting the window sills.
Shelving new product deliveries, labelling boxes, and updating the warehouse tracking board
Keeping the warehouse organized which involves sorting and discarding garbage/recycle
Assisting with marketing efforts such as placing yard signs and delivering door knockers.
Assist the team with post-installation customer resolutions
Constantly learning. We encourage and facilitate several training opportunities throughout each year to improve skill sets and knowledge
No previous experience in the window covering industry is required, however previous trades related experience is an asset.
The candidate will be paid on a combination of per unit installed and an hourly rate for travel, meetings and other auxiliary work. There will be a bonus system in place. Training specific to this position will be provided. A vehicle and tools will be provided. You must have a good driving record and a clean criminal record. We provide a basic cost-shared employee health benefits plan, however a certain amount of work hours are required.
