We are currently recruiting for Casual Educational Assistants to join our team and work in an engaging and rewarding environment! Sturgeon Public Schools are located in Sturgeon County, just a short drive from the cities of Edmonton and St. Albert.

Casual Educational Assistants are called on an as-needed basis to work in a variety of classrooms across the Division. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required to travel between school locations.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide classroom and individualized support under the direction of the teacher Assist students with academic, social, and behavioural learning needs Encourage independence and positive relationships among peers Help implement classroom strategies and supports for diverse learners
Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment

What You Bring

Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma/Certificate Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including autism and challenging behaviours CPR and First Aid certification Training in Positive Behaviour Supports and TCIS Patience, empathy, and adaptability A collaborative mindset and commitment to student success
Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
