Job Description

Casual Educator(s)/Early Interventionist(s)

kcs Association is looking for casual Educators and Early Interventionists, who are able to work on an on-call basis. The successful candidate(s) will work in a classroom with one or more children. Responsibilities of the casual Educator/Early Interventionist will include (but not be limited to):

To support other team members in the class

To help children pursue developmental goals

Foster child's independence within a safe learning environment

Work collaboratively with child's learning team

Assist with classroom activities and duties if the child is functioning with immediate supports (e.g. engaged with other children and staff)

Qualifications:

Early Childhood Certificate or equivalent, minimum Level 1

Experience working with children

Good communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Must be 18 years of age

Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check

Child Intervention Check

First Aid/CPR
