IntroductionCasual/On Call Early Childhood Educators work within the BGC Saskatoon Early Years Department. The Casual ECE will work with the ECE positions to provide a quality, safe and stimulating experience for all children attending the Centre.Casual Early Childhood Educators may have the opportunity to work at both of BGCS' Early Learning Centres (located in John Lake School and the Evergreen Joint Use School).Company- Experience working or volunteering with children

- Play & Exploration Training Phase 1 (to be obtained within first 3 months of employment)

- Engage children in planning activities that provide opportunities to develop and enhance skills, based on their needs and wantsThe Casual ECE, along with full time ECEs/ECE Assistants, will:- Assist with the implementation of daily routines and maintain a high level of supervision and safety under the supervisions of the ELC Management team according to Provincial Licensing Regulations and Procedures
- Ensure the quality of the ELC by adhering to Provincial Licensing Regulations (which includes Health and Fire Regulations) as well as BGC Saskatoon Policies and Procedures.
- Work in a team-based environment
- Apply and interpret Early Childhood Education's developmentally appropriate practices
- End of shift daily cleanup.
