Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs. This role involves supervising childern for 2-5hours in a play area .The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering their growth in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Foster a positive environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction. Monitor and supervise children in the play area for up to 2-5 hours Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support children's overall well-being and learning goals. Provide personalized support for children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities as necessary. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Use effective communication skills to engage children in meaningful learning experiences. Utilize computer skills for record keeping and communication with families.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and French, are highly desirable. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and time management skills in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
