We are currently looking for Casual Driver's Helpers at our food production facility. Previous experience in a high volume fast paced food environment would be a definite asset. Candidates will be required to perform duties such as:

Assist High-lift Vehicle Drivers with the loading and off-loading of galleys and supplies at the aircraft and the Company Flight Kitchen. Heavy clean up jobs on equipment, vehicles, and inside/outside the workplace Miscellaneous pickup and delivery by van. Receive incoming goods at the Flight Kitchen and complete related documents.

Job Duties:

Monitor aircraft registration gate and airline arrival and departure time information for updates in order to prioritize work assignments Perform and record vehicle safety pre-trip inspection checks on a daily basis Check fuel level of vehicles and refuel company vehicles as required Coordinate pick-up loading of flights with Customer Service Coordinators from cooler Loads hi-lift vehicles and transports all company or airline products and equipment to and from warehouses, cargo facilities, aircraft or other locations as required following procedures Load all related airline galley equipment and supplies onto and off of the appropriate airline aircraft using the proper cabin and belly stowage locations Guide other drivers and their vehicles into and out of aircraft galley door and belly locations as required Bag and store wet ice cubes Report immediately, all defects on vehicles to the Operations Supervisory Staff when they are detected Complete all driver reports and associated duties in a professional and courteous manner with safety and customer satisfaction in mind

Skills and Abilities Required

:

Must have a good driving record - present driver's abstract Good command of English language and ability to read and understand instructions. Candidate is willing to work in cold facility(Temperature is around 2C to 4C). Must be able to lift up to 20 kgs Written and verbal fluency is required Must have excellent interpersonal, communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent customer relations skills Must be flexible with hours of work and adapt to schedule changes to accommodate operational requirements Must be able to take direction from supervisory staff Must be able to adapt to company directives and guidelines
