Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience in commercial driving. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities

Ability to use cell phone and delivery app to make deliveries.

Provide a clear drivers abstract.

Provide a clear criminal record check.

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items during transport. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.

Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Experience with moving heavy items and operating forklifts is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
