Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our caring team at Sidney All Care Residence in CA. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring a positive dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will support our mission of providing meaningful relationships and exceptional caregiving.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

Cooks and prepares breakfast, lunch, diner, special dietary items, catering items, snacks according to direction and by following menus and recipes; Ensures that all food is prepared and portioned as outlined; Ensures that sanitation and safety standards are maintained during food preparation and production; Receives deliveries and checks for damage, quantity and quality and validates receipts as ordered.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Current Food safe level 1; Must have a minimum of 2 years related work experience with a preference in a Residential Care Community kitchen working with seniors; Must have the ability to communicate tactfully and maturely when interacting with residents, staff, suppliers, volunteers, and the family and guests of our residents; Must have an understanding of texture modifications, allergies and food sensitivities
