Catholic Social Services is currently seeking a casual Children\xe2\x80\x99s Outreach Worker to provide supports to a young girl in the community. This position is perfect for post-secondary students looking for hours that work with their school schedules, individuals looking for supplementary income, or anyone interested in making a difference in their community! Hours are flexible and can work around your busy life. Job Summary: You will love to have fun while making a difference with this client by supporting her in activities she enjoys. This could include swimming, engaging with her at local parks and restaurants, dancing, singing, and attending community events. You will be successful by supporting her through interactive play and will work towards enhancing communication, life / social skills, and providing her with new experiences. You will be joining a supportive team, be provided with learning opportunities, support from supervision, 1:1 training, and Agency courses. Please note, there are no guaranteed hours but you may work around 5-10 hours per week, after school and weekends based on the needs of the family. Education and Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is considered an asset
• A vehicle and valid class 5 driver\'s license \xe2\x80\x93 requirement to transport clients in your personal vehicle
• Clear and current driver\'s abstract
• Proof of vehicle insurance showing $2 million liability coverage
• Standard First Aid is considered an asset
• Vulnerable Sector Check issued by RCMP or City Police
• Child Intervention Record Check
