Early Roots Play to Learn Childcare Centre

to join our small, dedicated team. As a member of our centre, you will help provide high-quality preschool education in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

About the Role

This position begins as a

casual/on-call supply role

, with the

potential to develop into full-time

employment. You will report to the in-program Supervisor and work collaboratively with a team of three educators.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily programming in line with How Does Learning Happen?*
Assist in planning, developing, and implementing daily and weekly activities Observe, monitor, assess, and report on children's progress Ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of all children in your care Encourage parent involvement through regular and positive communication Maintain compliance with the

Child Care and Early Years Act

and all applicable licensing regulations (training can be provided)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Minimum

1 year of experience

working in a childcare setting Valid

First Aid & CPR Certificate

(or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with

"How Does Learning Happen?"

framework Strong communication and active listening skills Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented Reside in

Ontario, Canada
