Summary

We are seeking a Bus Driver to join our team at A.S.K. Friendship Centre in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring safe and reliable transportation for our clients, contributing significantly to their daily experiences and well-being.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the bus, ensuring timely transportation of clients to and from the centre. Assist clients with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and families regarding transportation schedules. Monitor the well-being of clients during transit, addressing any concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Qualifications

Valid Unrestricted Class 4 License Acceptable Drivers Abstract Valid First Aid Certificate Criminal Records Check COVID-19 vaccinations (2 doses) Experience in senior care or working with adults preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with clients. Bilingual abilities (English/Chinese are an asset. Previous experience in customer service is highly valued.
