Store Associate
to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
Help shoppers locate products including spices, rice, lentils, snacks, frozen foods, fresh produce, dairy, beverages, and household/puja items.
Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
Receive deliveries, stock shelves, rotate products, and check expiry dates.
Maintain clean and organized aisles, shelves, and checkout areas.
Create attractive displays and assist with promotional setups.
Support day-to-day store operations and follow food safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Previous retail or grocery experience preferred (knowledge of Indian groceries is an asset).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs (stocking merchandise).
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends).
