Job Overview

We are seeking a enthusiastic Server/Cashier for Thanksgiving weekend in food trailer at Erin fall Fair. A temporary position and roughly 30 hrs from fri Oct 10 to Monday closing at 4 pm $20 hr plus cash tips. Must be available all days. Non-smoking environment. EMAIL or CALL/TEXT Bill@ 519 505-2587. This role involves taking orders, serving food, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining atmosphere.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Micros POS system. Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to ensure a sanitary environment. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
