Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at GLADIATOR BURGER & STEAK in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and enjoy their dining experience, contributing directly to our mission of delivering quality food and service.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment handling. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service or cashier roles, preferably in the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards. Proficiency in using POS systems, including Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
