Responsibilities

Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Micros POS system. Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards, ensuring high-quality presentation. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register, maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms in compliance with sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any customer concerns promptly. Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Experience in food preparation, serving, and cashiering is highly desirable.
