Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be able to efficiently manage both food service and cashier responsibilities. This role is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving guests promptly and courteously. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with precision. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces regularly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Address customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner to enhance their dining experience. Follow all restaurant policies regarding food safety and sanitation practices.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
