Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Accurately process transactions using the Micros POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling and payment processing. Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively. Perform regular cleaning duties to uphold restaurant hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
