Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part-Time Cashier/Sales associate to join our team and work weekends. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to engage with customers, demonstrate products, and manage cash handling will contribute to a positive shopping experience. We value individuals who are enthusiastic about retail sales and can communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Process transactions accurately using the cash register. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and encourage sales. Re-fill/Exchange Propane tanks up to 55lb. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining product displays. Routinely clean the store and site premises. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with technology is beneficial for engaging customers effectively. A passion for providing excellent customer service and a willingness to learn about products.
