We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and assisting with sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to upsell products effectively.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Process transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and care. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer experience. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services. Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Proficient organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods. Familiarity with technology sales is advantageous but not required. Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
