Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cashier/Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. Duties

Execute merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and sales performance. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Collaborate with retail staff to ensure proper placement and presentation of products. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, inventory management, and reporting. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Perform cash handling duties accurately while maintaining a balanced register. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain organized displays and ensure compliance with company standards. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for product placements and promotions. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and retail partners.

Experience

Previous experience in merchandising or retail sales is preferred. Proficiency in technology sales or technical sales is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse customer bases. Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and inventory management tasks. Familiarity with cashiering processes and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions.
