Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cashier / Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cashier / Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist with food handling and food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Help in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations is essential.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Shift is Monday to Friday.
