Duties
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Assist in food handling, ensuring all items are stored properly to prevent spoilage.
Help with cash handling during service, including processing payments accurately.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
Perform basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory.
Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated.
Basic math skills for accurate measurement and cash handling tasks.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
