Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a solid understanding of food safety practices. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled items while ensuring that all meals are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area and kitchen equipment. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling practices are followed.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within the food industry is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Strong communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the kitchen.
