Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while managing transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments accurately. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to customers, showcasing features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring merchandising displays are well-stocked and appealing. Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed. Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and effective phone etiquette. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in merchandising techniques to create an inviting shopping environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
