Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with product information and demos. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and transactions Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately while maintaining proper cash register procedures Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise, especially for technology or electronics items Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store environment is inviting Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers during busy periods Support inventory management through stock replenishment and product organization Ensure adherence to store policies, including POS procedures and safety guidelines

Skills

Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (English and other languages) to serve diverse customer bases Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales processes Knowledge of merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation Ability to perform product demos confidently, especially for technology or electronics products Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Sales skills including upselling techniques and technical sales experience preferred Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
