Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage time, and upsell will contribute to a positive experience and drive sales.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a professional manner Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions Process sales transactions efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Demonstrate product features through demos and provide technical or sales support when needed Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and clean Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times Communicate product information clearly in English and other languages as applicable Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed

Requirements

Excellent communication skills, including strong phone etiquette and organizational skills Basic math proficiency for cash handling and transaction accuracy Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, and upselling techniques is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Professional appearance and positive attitude required for providing outstanding customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
