Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Process transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy. Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in understanding product features. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandising displays are well-stocked. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience. Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently. Familiarity with retail sales techniques, including upselling and merchandising strategies. Experience in technology sales or technical sales is a plus. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Pay: $17.60 per hour
