Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a pleasant and helpful manner. Assist customers waiting for check out in a grocery store Scan items, bag grocery items, request price checks Collect payments Responsible for counting contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must follow all Occupational Health and Safety requirements at all times Keep cash area neat and tidy Place products back on the appropriate shelf when left at the cash register All other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or other Equivalencies will be considered Must possess strong organizational & time management skills Self-motivated Exceptional customer service skills Have a positive attitude Must be able to work with minimum supervision Provide 2-3 work related references Previous cashier experience considered an asset
