We are looking for someone to work our Saturday shifts with the possibility of more hours if needed throughout the week. Right now the Saturday hours consist of 12-6 pm but could change to 10-6 in busy season. This position would be great for a retired individual looking for a few hours a week!

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a craft store. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting our products through effective sales techniques.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner. Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash with care. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to enhance customer experience. Upsell products and services to meet sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain organized merchandising displays to promote products effectively. Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service. Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and provide information about products or services. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal interactions. Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities are essential for success in this role. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and services.
